WINTER TIRES WITH SILICE COMPOUND

So that you arrive safely at your destination even in the cold season, we have developed a winter-compatible compound and tread combination for motorcycles.

The basis for this is a tread with a high negative index, since the ability to penetrate the Snow is an important aspect. To have sufficient grip, even on cold and wet surfaces, the tread is not enough, the compound also has to be suitable. Standard tire compounds are designed for spring to fall use and harden at low temperatures. Consequently, a standard tire can only achieve reduced grip.

To eliminate this problem, Heidenau has developed a silica compound specially adapted for motorcycles. It is specially formulated for temperatures below 6 degrees Celsius, providing excellent grip and exceptional wet grip on cold roads. The combination of winter compound and tread is the basis of winter tires, which will safely take you to your destination even in the worst weather conditions
