Why choose a BMC air filter?
1. Better airflow to the engine:
The cotton gauze that BMC uses has larger links, allowing for better airflow, but the use of multiple layers of cotton soaked in oil allows blocking any impurity greater than 7 microns.
2. Higher retention and detection:
BMC air filters achieved an impressive filtration efficiency of 97.5% in the ISO5011 test.
3. Wider filtering area:
Maximum air permeability and greater air flow passage.
4. The choice of champions:
BMC equips some of the most important teams in Formula 1, MotoGP, WorldSBK.
General information
The cylindrical / panel air filter is commonly called the air filter. spare air. Installs into the vehicle's original air box to replace the OEM air filter. It is made from high-performance materials that allow for greater airflow combined with more efficient filtration, ensuring all impurities are contained down to just 7 microns (compared to 10 microns for OEMs).
BMC air filters are manufactured using a Full Molding system that allows the characteristic red filter to be made from a single mold without welded joints, thus avoiding easy breakage. The rubber used in BMC air filtration systems has a long life, is very durable and has optimal adhesion characteristics to all forms of airboxes.
BMC filters are made from a gauze of multi-layer cotton soaked with low viscosity oil covered with an epoxy-coated alloy mesh to ensure protection against gasoline vapors and oxidation due to air humidity.
All filters BMC air filters are pre-oiled and can be washed and regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit.
